More performance variant of the Huracán, the new LP 640-4 Performante, is probably the most extreme road car that may be driven. It is a race car, prepared for the track, as demonstrated at Nurburgring in October 2016, when Performante scored a lap time of 6: 52.01. The Huracán Performante has received substantial changes compared to other versions. The biggest changes are visible in the front and rear bumpers. The position of the exhausts (now there are two) has changed, they are placed slightly above the rear diffuser. The interior features a new seat design and a new digital speedometer, similar to that of the Aventador SV. The weight is reduced by 40 kgs, thanks to the extensive use of forged aluminum, carbon fiber for the bodywork and the use of hollow parts for some elements. Carbon fiber has also been used for the new rear spoiler, front splitter and diffuser. The vehicle is able to do 0-100 km / h in 2.9 seconds and 0-200 km / h in 8.9 seconds, with a top speed of 325 km / h. The set-up of the car has been stiffened with new springs, roll bars and suspension arms with magnetorheological control, with a system reworked to give greater driving sensitivity. It is equipped with a system called ALA (Aerodynamics Lamborghini Attiva) original for the Bologna cars, which manages all aerodynamic components (aileron, miniskirts, splitters, air intakes, aerodynamic fins) preferring the load in bends or aerodynamic penetration in straight.
